The bilingual English and Khmer Kindergarten program at Kep International School is open to children who will be between the ages of 3 - 6 on August 22, 2016, which is the first day of Kindergarten. The program has two separate levels which are located in two different classrooms.
Our interactive and holistic program includes instruction in English speaking, listening, reading, and writing; Khmer speaking, listening, reading, and writing; Numerical thinking and mathematics; Science; Multicultural studies; Character building; Arts and crafts; Music and movement; and educational games.
Students attend the program for a full day of learning from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This full day includes opening and closing assemblies, lunch and snack times, a nap time, and learning through play.
Sea Turtles Pre-Kindergarten Class
The Sea Turtles Pre-Kindergarten class is geared toward students who are ages 3 - 4, and is the recommended point of entry for studying at Kep International School. The class is focused on interactive learning activities that help students develop strong listening and speaking skills in English and Khmer, as well as literacy and numeracy skills. Seahorses Kindergarten Class
The Seahorses Kindergarten class is geared toward scholars who are ages 5 - 6. The class has a strong focus on developmental reading and mathematics and is focused on preparing students for Primary School at Kep International School.
