Kep International School follows the English language Cambridge Primary curriculum and the national Khmer curriculum. The Cambridge Primary curriculum is taught by foreign teachers and the national Cambodian curriculum is taught by certified Cambodian teachers. We currently offer instruction for Kindergarten and Primary School (Grades 1-6).
Our aesthetically pleasing and peaceful grounds include bright and spacious classrooms, a garden, a playground, athletic fields, and outdoor cafeteria seating. Within this environment, a high emphasis is placed on safety, collaborative decision making, caring attitudes, and high educational standards. Students are provided with a wide range of personal, academic, and practical learning experiences.
The Kindergarten program provides healthy activities and lessons to develop social, emotional, intellectual, and physical skills. It helps the child develop self-esteem and confidence, and to start building on their own abilities. The program follows some Montessori teaching methods.

Primary School program
The bilingual English and Khmer Primary School program follows the English language Cambridge Primary curriculum and the national Khmer curriculum. Our program develops English, Khmer, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Information and Communication Technology, Music, Physical Education, and Home Science and Design Technology (Arts and Crafts) skills. It focuses on enabling the child to live a full life as a child and to realize his or her potential as a unique individual. It enables the child to develop as a social being through living and cooperating with others and to contribute to the good of society. It prepares the child for further education and lifelong learning.
At Kep International School, we encourage children to experiment, explore and learn through interactive activities. Practical experience is a powerful motivator, encouraging children to be creative and to develop both scientific and language skills. Interactive learning is flexible and can be adapted to meet the preferred learning style of each child.
