Job Title Primary Teacher Job Classification Full-time contract for the 2017-18 school year. Job Description Kep International School is seeking an adventurous and resourceful teacher to move to Kep Province and teach classes in our Primary program. The majority of the class units will be in our Tigers classroom, which is our grades 2B - 3B level. Essential components of the job description are to: ~ Plan and teach units of instruction following the KIS curriculum and program for the designated subject areas. ~ Comprehensively and continuously monitor and evaluate the progress of the students, using professional acumen and exceptional communication skills to communicate the progress of the students. ~ Lead classroom cultures that emphasizes respect, diversity, and a healthy learning environment. Qualifications Candidates from all nationalities and language backgrounds are invited to apply. Candidates must be fluent in the English language and have a bachelor's degree. Contract Details This is a full-time contract position that begins on August 17, 2017 and ends on July 13, 2018. The hours of the position follow our teaching schedule and our flexible workplace policy. In addition to public Cambodian holidays, there is a school holiday from December 18, 2017 through January 8, 2018. The successful candidate must be able to make a commitment for the entire length of the contract.

At least one reference must be from the previous school where the candidate was employed. After the references are checked, the applicant will be invited for a second interview. This interview must be completed in-person at our Kep campus unless the applicant does not currently live in Cambodia. Application Process Phase #4 Selected applicants will be invited to submit one of the following as an application material: 1) An original sample lesson plan for a Primary School science class that includes preparation and materials planning OR 2) A video of the applicant teaching a Primary School science class OR 3) an alternative creative representation of your teaching skills to teach science at the Primary School level.
