Kep International School is an independent private day school in Kep Province, Cambodia. Established in 2013, our school provides a full-time educational program to 120 students from age three to sixth grade. We also offer a part-time afternoon program for ages four to seven. Our qualified international and local teaching team represents seven nations and four continents.
Languages Our international program is primarily taught in the English language by English speakers. All of our students additionally study Khmer language and literacy. We offer French and Chinese as language learning electives, depending on the program and the term.
Our Campus Our aesthetically pleasing school grounds are the historic site of a national Olympics stadium. We offer bright, spacious, and air-conditioned classrooms, gardens, a playground, athletic fields, and outdoor cafeteria seating.
Daily Schedule Students attend our full-time program Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Our campus opens at 7:30 am for student arrival and closes at 3:30 pm for student dismissal. Students attend our part-time program Monday through Friday from 4:00 - 5:30 pm. Our campus opens at 3:30 pm for afternoon student arrival and closes at 6:00 pm for student dismissal.
Classrooms Our 120 full-time students study in five separate learning classrooms. The Sea Turtles classroom and the Seahorses classroom are collectively known as our Kindergarten campus. The Sunbears, Tigers, and Leopards classrooms are collectively known as our Primary campus. All of our classrooms are multilevel learning environments. This is a strength which allows students to learn at their own pace in different subject areas. Our afternoon program is known as Corals Kindergarten.
